Gloucestershire College DVD Case Study

Introduction

In the summer of 2008 Gloucestershire College approached Summit Seven to produce an international Students DVD to promote the college and its facilities over-seas.

Summit Seven Proposed a package for the DVD that included several specialist features that would make Gloscat stand out at shows and conferences.

The package consisted of:

An International DVD

The DVD production consisted of high quality footage of the area, Student experiences, accommodation and career aspirations.

5 key languages were then added as subtitles and the DVD was authored to play on both PC and conventional players. This enabled the viewer to link out to the internet for course information and extra media such as the virtual tours.

360 Degree Virtual Tours

The virtual tour links from the DVD when played in a PC for visitors to view the many facilities and gain a good feel for the building and accommodation.

Brochure

A brochure was required based on a half size A4 to reduced postage costs and keep weight to a minimum. Summit Seven produced a 12 page brochure much like there own with a high quality Matt Laminate finish and a DVD holder placed in the back.
